We pay tribute to  Janet Flanner, a great journalist who for fifty years wrote "Letter from Paris" for The New Yorker magazine under the pseudonym "Genet," won The National Book Award and France's Legion of Honor. She fled Indianapolis early on and spent her life in Paris, with Hemingway, Picasso and the gang.
